Old School Delights
Always been wanted to come here since my favourite hangout place
ICE3 CAFE had recently moved to the
Marina Barrage. Boo!
Can't hang out and eat my ice-creams anymore.
But came to my surprise that this new retro cafe which stunned me.
Whenever I'm in the public transport and always happened to pass by, always glanced in...
Like what do they serve, OLD SCHOOL DELIGHTS... means cheap? Old school, what?
Nah, they serve... ASIAN DELIGHTS!.
Their signature dish was MEE SIAM.
So yes I had that for lunch today.
What's more fun, is that we can recall back those days that we used chalkboard! I can still remember clearly the very last time I wrote on a chalkboard was pre-sch 1 ! So, my sis and I made scrubblings to the chalkboard, wonder if will it be still there when we get back here for another lunch again? Hmmms.
Anyways, the atmosphere was good, old song playing in cafe, good chat with sis.
Great meal.
All those stuffs displaying are the things/games when I played during pre-school.
Especially the jar of ERASERS!! Burtons book which I always read to sleep.
(Never really read actually, only see pictures.)
UH! The SNAKE GAME! REMINISCE...
That kind of pencil which I always change whenever it gets a little blunt..
That 3 bean bag!! I always played that with my primary 4 friends!
HAHA, donkey and old maid cards! the sticks game...
This is a great place to go like how I intro
ICE3 CAFE and
Miss Clarify Cafe.
Check it out!
Old School Delights. Didn't know that they have 10% off students too!

About the blog
This blog is, in essence, an outlet for me to vent and has been for many
years. It is filled to the brim with daily observations possessing little - if
any - substance or value, alongside a mass of photos (the majority of which are
of myself. But why bother suppressing your vanity, right?).
I took on to the blogging scene many moons ago when I used to 'typE lykk diiSh'
and when Britney Spears was still hot and weighed 20kgs less. So to say that a
lot has changed thence would be beyond an understatement.
Given the numerous instances when I wanted to shut this blog down (due to
schooling and general disinterest), this site is still going strong after
several name changes and countless redesigns. Gotta pat myself on the back for
that.
I can only hope that you like what I do. :)
Whose blog?
Welcome to the life of a first-year of a offically adult living off the sale rack, fast food and reality
television. My name is Joey (Alista), but to be politically correct, it is only a nickname. From Google results,
I am apparently a footballer, someone's man defender, and variant of greek. Pretty neat. I find overalls
to be rather peculiar, along with the male species. Partially a student tryin' to kick off some time to do a little
daily-lifestyle of what any other youth does. Nearly to be a makeup-artist, but sitting behind computer feels more secured.
